Silicon has no pure form but is found in the earth's crust.
It is usually found mixed with other materials on beaches, in Gemstones,
in opals or agates.
This element is simply grey, it has a metallic shine to it.

One type of Silicon that can harm our health is 'Silicon Crystalline'. This form of element can irritate the skin and the eyes.
If inhaled, it can also irritate the lungs which is later associated with lung cancer.
If this form comes in contact with the eyes, it will cause you watering, and redness. Irritation symptoms usually include
itching, or skin inflammation or swelling.
Luckily, silicon has no negative affect on our environment :-).
